Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Centre — Gaza Chamber
A digital platform for filing arbitration, mediation and conciliation requests in commercial disputes, and following cases, hearings and awards online.
The centre is an independent commercial dispute resolution body under the Gaza Governorate Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. It offers arbitration, mediation and conciliation under published procedural rules and the Palestinian Arbitration Law No. 3 of 2000.
Requests are filed online and a case is run from registration to award on the platform: exchange of submissions, hearings in person or remotely, electronic signature, and public verification of issued documents.
Periods are counted in working days; the official holidays, the fees and the rules are published on this site.
Why resolve your dispute at the centre
Fixed timetable
A digital procedure that shortens the exchange of pleadings and the life of the case.
Hearings in private
Case documents and party names are not published without their consent or an order of the competent court, and what the archive carries is anonymised.
Remote hearings
The platform can hold hearings electronically over secure technology where the tribunal so decides; in domestic arbitration the seat is by default the centre (Article 15 of the arbitration rules).
How a case runs
File the request
Create your account on the platform, choose the service, and file the request with its documents online.
Review and acceptance
The centre's secretariat reviews the request; a copy of it and its annexes is sent to the other party once the registration fee has been satisfied.
Constituting the tribunal
The centre's director constitutes the tribunal, taking account of the dispute's difficulty, its value and the arbitrators the parties proposed; the parties are notified and may object in writing.
Hearings
Hearings in person or remote, structured and recorded in minutes.
The award
A binding arbitral award, or a settlement agreement recorded between the parties.
Services
- Commercial Arbitration: Binding resolution of commercial disputes by a neutral arbitral tribunal.
- Mediation: Facilitated negotiation toward a mutually acceptable resolution.
- Conciliation: A less formal procedure where a neutral proposes solutions to the parties.
